East Kilbride Thistle FC

East Kilbride Thistle are one of the few non-professional clubs in Scotland to field football teams across the complete range of age groups, for men, women, boys, and girls. Regardless of your age, Thistle have a team for you. Further details of the team types can be found here.

From the first day that we established our football development plan, our main focus has always been player development. We believe that the development of a players' abilities are of primary importance, that is why we encourage players of all abilities to join our teams, provided they have a desire to learn and develop. "Winning no matter what" is not what East Kilbride Thistle is about - by developing players, the teams will improve, and success will follow.

We encourage development of a player's individual skills, encouraging them to become better footballers. We also encourage all of our coaches to progress through the Scottish FA Coach Education Pathways. This allows the club to offer an ever-improving coaching environment for our players, allowing them to express themselves to the best of their abilities on the pitch.
